Pregnant Fort Bragg Soldier's Death Ruled Homicide

The Fayetteville Police in North Carolina say Spc. Megan Touma, 23, was murdered, according to the results of a 2nd autopsy. “We are further along than when it started however we are still waiting on evidence to be processed that was sent to state lab,” says Lt. David Sportsman, with Fayetteville Police. U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command, along with the Fayetteville Police, requested another autopsy by the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology after the initial autopsy was conducted in North Carolina. The Fort Bragg soldier was seven months pregnant when she was found murdered in a Fairfield Inn hotel room last month. Sportsman says that the killer it is most likely someone that she knew, however, they are not ruling out the murder as a random act of violence either.
