Governor Nixes Revised Abortion Bill

PHOENIX -- A revised version of previously vetoed legislation to prohibit a controversial late-term abortion procedure has been vetoed by Gov. Janet Napolitano. Napolitano's veto letter says she vetoed the new bill because there's already a federal law. She also says she doesn't want the state to introduce possible criminal penalties "into the relationship between a woman and her physician."
