Pride Participants Enjoy Affirmation from Planned Parenthood

BILLINGS -- This is the second consecutive year that Pride weekend has been held in Billings. The annual celebration recognizes lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Montanans and Two Spirit communities. Events move to Kalispell next summer. The unity expressed during Pride weekend isn't only within the LGBT communities but from their straight supporters, who were evident in the parade. There was a church group from Kalispell and a large entry from Planned Parenthood. The parade route wasn't crowded, but supporters lined the entire sidewalks.
