Man Faces Trial In Shooting Death of Pregnant Mother, Unborn Baby

TOWSON, Md. -- A man accused of killing a woman and her unborn baby in a Maryland parking lot goes on trial this week. Jury selection is expected to begin Monday in Baltimore County in what might be the first legal test for Maryland's viable fetus law. David Lee Miller, 24, is accused in the deaths of Elizabeth Walters and her unborn baby. Authorities said Walters was seven months pregnant when she was shot and killed last June in a car at the Parkway Crossing Shopping Center near Parkville. Read more...
