Boca Raton Planned Parenthood Still Open

BOCA RATON -- The Planned Parenthood sign is still up. The administrative office is still open, as are the clinic doors. Existing patients can pick up test results. New patients are referred to other centers or directly to some doctors who have volunteered to help. Planned Parenthood of South Palm Beach and Broward Counties is not shutting down, just limiting services. Sources say the 30-year-old Boca Raton-based organization, which has suffered financial problems in recent years, might merge with another Planned Parenthood either in West Palm Beach or Orlando.
