Trial Begins for Man Accused of Killing Pregnant Mom, Unborn Child

More than two years after Summer Baldwin's body was found stuffed in a suitcase in a landfill, the trial of the man accused of killing her and her unborn child is scheduled to start today in Canyon. Rosendo Rodriguez III was indicted on a capital murder charge in October 2005 for Baldwin's death. He is also suspected of killing Joanna Rogers, who disappeared in 2004 at the age of 16.
