Yemen Signs 'Population Reduction Program' with UNFPA

UNFPA's country new program project (2007- 2011) was signed on Sunday by Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Abd-Karim al-Arhabi and Hans Obtin, the representative of UNFPA in Yemen. The project included three main hubs dealing with pubic issues such as procreation healthcare, population and developmental issues and social kind issues. The planning minister stated to Saba that the government gives priority to population issues and appreciates the aids being presented by UNFPA to developing countries to overcome problems caused by population growth in high rates.
