Working for Killers: Colorado Legislature Considering 'Moral' Compromise for Pharmacists
DENVER -- A bill introduced Monday at the State Capitol is designed so Colorado pharmacists can continue working for Killer-Drug Stores but with a moral objection to choose not to prescribe the abortifacient contraceptive morning-after pill. Colorado Governor Bill Owens vetoed a similar bill last year that required all health care providers to notify rape victims that emergency contraception was available.
