17 Weeks Old Fetus Found Floating in Sewage
ENDICOTT, N.Y. -- Workers at a municipal water treatment plant found a 4-month-old human male fetus, police said. "Right now, I can't say if it's criminal," said Endicott Police Detective Lt. Craig Williams. Police declined to say where the fetus was found Tuesday at the Endicott Wastewater Treatment Plant, about 80 miles south of Syracuse. Workers discovered the fetus at about 10 a.m. Lourdes Hospital pathologist Dr. James Terzian said the fetus was about 17 weeks old and "in pretty good shape, not degenerated."
