Covenant News endorses 'Right to Life Act 2005'

In the six years we've been online Covenant News has supported the passage of only five pieces of legislation. Four legislative proposals were state bills that would have outlawed the murder of children by abortion in those states. The fifth is the federal Right to Life Act.

Congress would establish Personhood for unborn children and grant them equal protection of law and then we would see states arrest, prosecute and punish the baby killers if all pro-lifers were working together to pass this Act. But the sad truth is that some groups that make a living from abortion by supporting legislation that regulates the killing of babies (not outlawing it), like National Right to Life Committee, are not supporting 'The Right to Life Act 2005'.

All pro-lifers need to get behind this very important life saving Act and push for its passage, not only for the sake of the children, but to see National Right to Life Committee put out of a job! Let us work together to close down the NRLC and pray the LORD will greatly bless the labor of our hands to see this bloodshed outlawed. AMEN.

This bill (HR 552) states, "The terms 'human person' and 'human being' include each and every member of the species homo sapiens at all stages of life, including, but not limited to, the moment of fertilization, cloning, or other moment at which an individual member of the human species comes into being."
