Court Allows State to Prosecute 22-Year-Old Baby Murder Case
CONCORD, N.H. -- The state did not violate a New Hampshire man's rights in prosecuting him for murdering an infant 20 years after the death, the state Supreme Court ruled Friday. The court remanded the case back to the lower court for trial. Last year, Merrimack County Superior Court Judge Edward Fitzgerald ruled prosecutors had given no compelling reason for the 20 years between the crime and the indictment against George Knickerbocker, 44. He's accused of killing 6-week-old Adam Robbins in Concord in 1983. Posted by Editor at July 30, 2005 07:22 PMLatest Pro-Life News and Headlines:
