Oral contraceptives and hormone replacement therapy drugs have been classified as carcinogenic by the International Agency for Research on Cancer. The reclassification places birth control pills in the same classification as tobacco and asbestos. The latest research shows contraceptive drugs cause breast cancer, cervical cancer and liver cancer.
