Pastor Matt Trewhella -- From June 13th through the 24th, we conducted the 2005 Great lakes Tour through the states of Michigan and Wisconsin. The Lord used our simple efforts exceedingly, abundantly more than we could ask or think! There were 86 people who traveled with the Tour for a week or more. Many others joined in for a few days, a day, or even one stop. We put out tens of thousands of pieces of literature on the Tour. Over 15,000 went out in Detroit alone as we spent three days pounding in that city. 9,000 pieces of “Why we show the Bloody Photographs of the Murdered Preborn” and 6,000 pieces of Mark Crutcher’s piece entitled “Jesus Loves the Little Children” which exhorts Christian to take action on behalf of their preborn neighbor. We used that at two different Christian conferences that took place in Detroit.
