Anti-Abortion counselling services could be forced to declare they are pro-life in public advertising, in a bid to stop women being misled when seeking abortions. Democrats senator Natasha Stott Despoja will move today to compel agencies to state clearly if they refuse to refer women for abortions. Under her bill, pro-life counselling groups would have to publish the words "This service does not refer for termination of pregnancy" in their advertising.
