Five Abortion Protesters Fined, Put On Probation

Wichita -- Five abortion protesters who were convicted last week of trespassing have been placed on two years' probation and ordered to stay 100 yards away from the clinic where they were arrested. District Judge David Kennedy sentenced the last of the defendants Wednesday, imposing the same $100 fine he imposed last week on the other four defendants. The five -- Mark Holick, Bruce Garren, William R. McGinnis, Shawn M. Mumy and Kevin S. Stanfield -- were also ordered to pay court costs. The defendants were arrested at George Tiller (The Killer) - Wichita, Kansas Late Term Abortion Mill, Women's Health Care Services, 5107 E. Kellogg Drive, on June 16, 2004.
