A Marion Superior Court judge has rejected an effort by Planned Parenthood of Indiana to stop the state from seizing patient records from its clinics. Judge Kenneth H. Johnson ruled that the state’s Medicaid Fraud Control Unit was within its authority when it sought records of young patients in its investigation of a complaint that Planned Parenthood failed to report child abuse as required by state law.
