The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) has awarded a $45 million grant to support a five-year program designed to improve Jordan’s health care services. According to an April 25 USAID news release, the grant will serve to upgrade 60 medical facilities, train health care workers, develop accreditation programs, computerize health care management systems and improve prenatal and neonatal services.
