15-Year-Old Boy Beats Little Baby To Death

OAKLAND, Calif. -- A 15-year-old boy is being held without bail in juvenile hall after police arrested him in connection with the death of his girlfriend's 1-year-old daughter. The boy is accused of killing Juliana Elena Vancleave by pummeling her repeatedly for as long as a day, said Oakland homicide Sgt. Jim Rullamas. Juliana was pronounced dead of blunt-force trauma early Sunday. Police say she had at least 50 severe bruises on her stomach and other injuries all over her body.
