The only female member of the Scissor Sisters describes herself as "a drag queen stuck in a woman's body." Feather boas at the ready, San Diego. This show, originally scheduled in July at Epicentre, has been moved to Canes and is a 21-and-up event. Ana Matronic, the lady of the house, was formerly the hostess of a naughty cabaret show on NYC's Lower East Side. Matronic met Scissor Sisters' founder Jake Shears at a Halloween party, where she had dressed as a Warhol Factory reject and he came costumed as a "back-alley abortion." That was all it took for the duo to hit it off -- soon after the Sisters (which include multi-instrumentalist Babydaddy, guitarist Del Marquis and drummer Patrick Seacor) made their live debut at Ana's club.
