People not ready to outlaw murdering children?

Bush: USA Isn't Ready For Total Abortion Ban
WASHINGTON — President Bush, who campaigned as an opponent of abortion, said Tuesday that Americans aren't ready to support a complete ban. Next week, he will sign into law the first federal restriction since the Supreme Court legalized abortion in 1973. The new law will outlaw a procedure that opponents have labeled "partial-birth abortion." Bush has never called for a ban on all abortions. "I don't think the culture has changed to the extent that the American people or the Congress would totally ban abortions," Bush said in answer to a question at a news conference. ("murderers... shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." Revelation 21:8)

A Christian Nation Governed by the Damned
President Bush is about to sign the 'Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act' into law, which the administration plans to use as a public relation stunt to portray G.W. as a "conservative Christian" to the Church throughout the coming election cycle. The fact that Bush is a vile pro-sodomite, pro-abortion baby murderer that consorts with Idolworshipers, publicly attacks Christians and takes the Lord's name in vain, will be over looked by the 30-second sound-bite Christians in the Church today. We who take the time to examine the "fruits" of our civil officials and see the government's genocidal slaughter of innocent children across the land, must be diligent to publicly challenge the Republican Christians' deceptive and lying tactics, so as to help people find the strait and narrow way to Jesus Christ: "for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it." Christians can not allow themselves to be governed by the damned. --Jim Rudd

Court Restricts Movement of
Paul Hill supporter at Clinic

KEOKUK, Iowa - For years, Dan Holman has protested outside Iowa abortion clinics, handing out pamphlets with graphic pictures, videotaping doctors and patients, and occasionally scuffling with patrons. Then came the September execution of Paul Hill for the 1994 shotgun murders of an abortion doctor and his bodyguard. Holman stood with a group of Hill supporters outside the prison in Gainesville, Fla., and spoke admiringly of him in interviews with newspapers. "Some day, I hope I will have the courage to be as much a man as he was," he told The New York Times. "I haven't killed anyone yet, but I believe they deserve to die," he told the Orlando Sentinel. Those words prompted managers of the Emma Goldman Clinic, where Holman and his wife, Donna, stage weekly protests, to obtain a temporary restraining order against him. Under the temporary injunction, Dan Holman must stay across the street from the clinic and at least 100 feet away from Karen Kubby, executive director of the Iowa City clinic, and the clinic's medical director. "This is somebody who clearly is dangerous," said Vicky Saporta, president of the National Abortion Federation, the "professional organization" for abortion providers in the United States and Canada.

PHILADELPHIA -- As testimony in his murder trial wound down this week, a local tough from South Philadelphia dropped a bombshell that spiced up the otherwise tedious case. Explaining his whereabouts the day before the Halloween 2001 slaying, Billy Rinick told prosecutors he had taken his friend, the sultry wife of a jailed mob boss, to Maryland for an abortion. She was pregnant by a New York football player, he said.

Tuck Signs Affidavit Swearing
She Hasn't Had An Abortion

JACKSON, Miss. -- Republican Lt. Gov. Amy Tuck on Tuesday signed an affidavit swearing she has never had an abortion. It's a response to a challenge made last month by her Democratic opponent, state Sen. Barbara Blackmon. "Words aren't strong enough to describe the sadness and revulsion I feel in knowing that campaign tactics in Mississippi have now sunk to this level," Tuck said in a written statement. Tuck said she would not answer additional questions about the issue, which neither candidate had talked about publicly in recent days.

Mother Accused of Throwing Away Newborn
OLATHE, Kan. -- A mother was charged with murder Tuesday after her baby was found dead in a dumpster. Investigators said there was absolutely nothing wrong with a newborn until they said her mother allegedly threw her away. Prosecutors alleged that the most likely scenario was that her mother stuffed the full-term, healthy baby girl into a duffel bag soon after she was born and that she died as a result of exposure and neglect in a trash bin. Prosecutors charged Aubrey Owen, 20, of Olathe, with reckless second-degree murder.

Mom Faces 30 Years For Abusing Baby
HOUMA -- A Houma woman faces up to 30 years in prison after admitting she tossed her infant daughter against a wall and beat her with a baby bottle. Tabitha Angela Naquin, 24, was convicted Thursday of crimes in connection with the girl’s abuse, which occurred over the course of two-weeks in the summer of 2001. The Terrebonne Parish jury reached its decision after an hour of deliberation at the conclusion of a four-day trial at the downtown courthouse.

Teen Mom Admits Hiding Remains In Newborn's Death
CAMDEN, N.J. -- A 15-year-old girl on trial for murder in the death of her newborn son pleaded guilty Monday to lesser charges. Prosecutors were questioning witnesses in the trial in Family Court when Superior Court Judge Angelo DiCamillo called a recess. The girl pleaded guilty to endangering the welfare of the child and concealing human remains. She said she believed her baby was stillborn, though prosecutors have previously said medical tests showed the baby was born alive.

Mom's Fiancé Allegedly Impregnated Preteen Daughter
An Independence man faces sexual assault charges after he allegedly raped an 11-year-old Kansas City girl and impregnated her. The girl, now 12, gave birth earlier this year. Kansas City police arrested Vincent L. Schafer, 31, Friday. The Jackson County Prosecutor's Office has charged Schafer with rape, three counts of felony sodomy and two counts of felony child molestation. According to court records, the victim told police in March, two days after she gave birth, that Schafer, her mother's fiancé, molested her during the summer of 2002 at a relative's Kansas City home. Schafer was also staying at the home at that time. The victim also told police Schafer molested her a second time four or five days later.

Starving Boys Case Prompts Firings
The body of a 7-year-old boy found in a box in a Newark basement nearly a year ago prompted a shake-up at New Jersey's child welfare agency. The agency reviewed all open cases, hired 366 more employees and received $30 million in emergency aid. Despite those changes, four adopted boys - one of them 19 - were found earlier this month malnourished and weighing less than 50 pounds each.

Slay Rap for Dad in Baby's Death
A Queens man was charged with manslaughter yesterday for suffocating his 3-month-old son after knocking him off the bed in their apartment last month, authorities said. On Sept. 8, just after 8:30 p.m., a drunken and sleep-deprived Andre Cooper took a nap with his infant son, Allah El, by his side instead of placing the child in his crib, which was in the same room, police said.

Father Guilty In Infant's Death
COURTHOUSE - Seven-week-old Talyn Walker lived a life filled with pain before his death on Sept. 23, 2002, according to Montgomery County Judge Richard J. Hodgson. "His was a life that no child should have been subjected to," said the judge. While no one will ever know who was responsible for causing that pain, the judge said he had no doubt as to who was responsible for the child's death: Talyn's father, Keith F. Walker, 30, of the 300 block of West Sixth Avenue, Conshohocken. An autopsy revealed Talyn suffered a brain hemorrhage, which is consistent with what is often called shaken-baby syndrome. Newly fractured ribs and a healing rib fracture also were discovered as well as a bruise to the child's face.

The eagerly-anticipated preliminary hearing in Modesto is expected to last up to five days after which Stanislaus County Superior Court Judge Al Girolami will decide whether there is enough evidence to merit a trial for the 31-year-old salesman.

Hospital Baby In Cat’s Mouth
Calcutta, Oct. 28: A nurse intervened in the nick of time to prevent a cat from carrying away a two-day-old infant from the nursery of the state-run Bongaon sub-divisional hospital in North 24-Parganas last night. Swati Biswas, 23, had given birth to a boy on Sunday. As the baby developed jaundice, he was placed in an incubator in the hospital’s nursery. On Monday night, around 8.30, the attending nurse met with a bizarre sight: a cat moving stealthily in the room with the baby clasped in its mouth.

Program to Study Infants' Mortality
Dr. Carmen Steigman, a pediatric pathologist, will perform autopsies on babies who are stillborn or who die before they reach their first birthday -- if the cause of death is not apparent and if the parents want to know the cause. There will be no cost to the parents. The information she gleans will go into a registry, which may be the first of its kind in the nation, to be analyzed and studied.

Flame Retardants May Be Phased Out
The Environmental Protection Agency is negotiating with a U.S. chemical manufacturer to phase out two toxic chemicals used as flame retardants. The chemicals have been found in potentially harmful levels in human breast milk, and recent widely reported studies found that U.S. mothers had levels 10 to 20 times higher than mothers in Europe. The flame retardants are two versions of polybrominated diphenyl ethers, or PBDEs: The Penta version is used to make foam and furniture-backing flame retardant; the Octa version is used in the hard plastic casing of electronics such as computers and televisions. In mice and rats, studies have shown that PBDEs may cause cognitive and behavioral changes during development and may lead to higher cancer rates.
