MILFORD -- The nanny who is accused of violently striking a 9-month-old Milford baby, an act caught on videotape, was spared jail time yesterday. Sara K. Cosby, 26, of 12 Tower St., Webster, was sentenced in Milford District Court to five years supervised probation for assault and battery as well as assault and battery on a child.
