Abortion Legislation Heads to Veto Session
Another legislative fight over abortion is ahead in the Missouri legislature. Governor Holden has vetoed a measure that would require women to wait 24 hours after meeting with a doctor before having an abortion. Tuesday, Planned Parenthood of St. Louis announced it is beginning a campaign to get lawmakers to uphold the veto.
