Planned Parenthood Trying To Secure Taxpayer Funding

Planned Parenthood has cleared the latest legal hurdle to hold onto $13 million in family planning funds. This legal battle all revolves around a provision in the state's budget bill which bars funding for any agency that provides abortion services. Planned Parenthood contends it's illegal to use federal money in any way for abortion services and counts on the money to provide its other family planning services.
