Father Charged In Death Of 10-Week-Old Son

HOLLAND -- The father of a 2-month-old boy who died Sunday was arrested Monday and accused of battering the infant to death, state police said. William Chad Bland, 30, Holland, was arrested at his home shortly before 3 p.m. and charged with battery causing death, a Class A felony, police said. Bland's son, Jaxon Cale Bland, died at Kosair Children's Hospital in Louisville from a severe head injury, police said. Posted by Editor at August 6, 2003 09:23 AM
