Las Cruces Planned Parenthood Closing

EL PASO -- A Planned Parenthood Clinic in Las Cruces says it will close on Friday because of funding problems. The organization's president says the clinic can no longer absorb the losses it has traditionally been able to cover. The clinic opened in Las Cruces eight years ago. It offered low-cost birth control and other community services. Officials say several Las Cruces health care providers can take on their patients.
